What do you like best about your job? “It’s my favorite and least favorite because it’s outside except (extreme cold) and when it’s 110 degrees.”
What’s your specialty? “we started out with perennials and herbs now we also have decorative objects that go with gardening, we have pottery, benches and yard art.”
What are your future plans? Waters said she wants to work with the city and other shop owners on Ingleside Avenue to give the block a “face-lift.”
During the months of January and February, the Society Gardener will only be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Being March 1, the store will resume regular hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
